Post Fuel Filter

I have an 07 5.9 with the stock filter bowl.

Just out of curiosity, which side of the fuel filter is the clean side?

Kind of what I thought, too... but wasn't for sure. Since the tube is closer to the top inside the center of the filter. I just wastn't sure if that was the supply or the return.

center is clean side; outside is unfiltered from the tank. to my knowledge that is how most filters function

other than the air cleaners on a rig... they're backwards... atleast on an old extend-a-hood peterbilt
