ok, i am not sure where to put this but i figured this was a good as spot as any. i have a juice with attitude. i had the attitude for some time, and was waiting for a juice to install it. i was countin pennys and saving up when i guy i work with said he had one from a truck he traded in couple months ago. his was an 05, not sure if it was auto or 6spd. i figured it didn't matter and i bought it from him. i installed it, with the directions i had from the attitude. i followed everything to the last page. now here is the fun part. the attitude didn't fire up right away so i keyed off and on then it started up. i got the warning messages from it and hit ok. i started the truck and everything seemed running fine. the factory gauges all read the same they always did, but the attitude is showing like the truck is not even running, all i get is zeros all the way around. even the EGT is at zero. now.....i had to get running somewhere so i figured it would be ok to drive. the truck drives fine, but i feel better throttle [?] and it seems peppier then before. it also smokes a lot more then it did, sometimes more the others. also the attiude don't always turn on, well it don't turn on most of the time. i can't figure out what is going on here. i looked around the net and couldn't find the product numbers that i have on the juice. i don't know where to go from here. i double checked all the conections, and they seem fine. oh i also forgot to mention that the guy that had it before did not use an attitude he used the 3 way toggle switch. my question i would start with is: would the attitude be bad from factory, like a dud, OR is there more then one juice that is for 04.5-05 trucks? any help would be great, or if anyone else had this problem, could you let me know how you went about working with it. BTW i am not looking for lots of power, i was looking for something to monitor gauges and maybe get some better towing MPG's, and that is why i went for the juice. my truck is mostly stock plus an intake, exaust, and a high ram. well motor wise its mostly stock.

also today i noticed that it only blows smoke when it warms up to operating temp. my edge book says that it only kicks in after 175 deg. don't know if that helps any.

 

I would call Edge on that one. The customer service at Edge is really great btw. When my dad got his juice with attitude for his 06 PSD and the monitor didn't even turn on. We sent it to Edge and the put their latest version of software or whatever and its worked ever since...
