Default Idle RPM's

Hey guys, I noticed today that my truck seems to be idling a little lower than it should. It was 105 today in Phoenix, and I take that into consideration but it would seem in drive with A/C on full blast it's idling at about 5-600 RPM and about 700-750 in park. I think it should be running at least 750-850 in drive with the A/C on right? Is this a sign of problems to come or do I need to just adjust my idle screw?

Here's a pic of the idle RPM in drive with A/C full blast:

In gear with the AC on it should idle at 750 rpm. Here in Albuquerque during the summer my truck does the same, but it only goes to about 650-700 range so I don't its a problem, but I could be completely wrong. But if its hitting 500 with the AC on in gear I would say you just need to turn your idle up abit.

Ya, runs way better now. That screw is a pain in the butt to find. I'm idling right above the third line now in D with the A/C on, runs wayyy better sounds like it should. Thanks.

That picture could be a picture of my own truck, 'cause thats about where mine idles at all the time. And I never turn off the A/C.... (that's just crazy talk....). I'm at sea level, if that makes a difference....

But then again, Drive isn't an option on mine. So, can't comment on that.

I used a single 10mm wrench and I'm not the world's best mechanic, just give it a try. It's not hard at all. Just play with it till you get it how you want.
