Default Stuck in 4 low

My boss has an 04 cummins and today we used it to pull our peterbilt out of some gravel and now it wont come out of 4 low we turned the truck off and let it sit, pushed the little nutrual button and it still wont come out any ideas or is this going to have to be a dealer fix??

Does the neutral light flash or does it do nothing? Did you try pushing the 2HI button and see what it does?

ya we tried that with the tranny in neutral pushed the little button and nothing happens when you switch it from 4lo to 4hi the lights switchs for just a sec then goes back to 4lo same thing when you try to get it in 2 wheel

sounds like the case got binded and the slider is stuck

gm's do that on the s10s and blazers you can take off the little shift motor and see if you can manualy move the case into 2 or 4 hi
