I need to reseal my wife's vacuum pump on her 98. I have the front cover off now (KDP fix) and i want to know what kind of gear puller i need to pull the gear. Also can it be pulled with the injection pump gear still installed. I don't know if I can leave the pump attached to the case and pull the power steering pump off and disassemble the vacuum pump starting from the rear. Can anybody get me lined out? Thanks.

it would be easyer to pull the vacuum pump off and set it on a work bench, you dont have to pull the gear to pull the pump just 4 bolts hold the vacuum pump to the case
