Default Power Windows Quit Working - Fix Inside

The power windows in the 06 quit working last night. None of the switches in the cab will make them go down. Not the master switches on the drivers door or the switches on each individual door.

Any Ideas?

My cousins Grand Caravan just did this, and then the gauge cluster worked intermittentley. It turned out to be the ECM.

Yeah I did... Problem is with these damn CAN-BUS systems it could be a damn fuse for the power seats that is screwing it up. I have my Service manual out and digging through it now.

After some digging and talking with a buddy thats a tech we belive the master switch on the drivers door is bad. Have a couple things left to check but pretty sure thats it.

Because all the signal goes through there for things like the window lock and the drivers switch overrides the others. Also these trucks use that damn CAN System and one little fubar some were reeks havoc on the rest the truck.

Oh and the FSM says that too...

just drive the 89

These new electrical systems suck ***, even the big rigs are starting to get into stuff like that with multiplexing all the computer together and if one of them has a SNAFU then they all are

Yeah the new systems blow. I know a guy that put a aftermarket stereo system in his truck and the damn thing would not start because the CAN system didn't like the aftermarket crap...
