Default weird squeaking noise

so two days ago i was backing out of a friends driveway heard a weird squeaking noise. put it in second gear took off and it went away. then it kept doing it ever time i backed up. Now when i go forward it does it some to but once i start moving. Not sure if it is still squeaking cuz of the straigh pipe exhaust. Buddy of mine said maybe ball joints but i only have 50000 miles and another buddy said maybe ujoints. Any help would be appreciated

Most likely a dried-up u-joint. Have went through several of them, usually on the rear drive-shaft. Unfortunally you can't really tell which one it is without pulling them out. As long as it's squeaking, have someone move the truck while you walk beside it. You should be able to hear which one it is. If it stops squeaking, beware! That usually means the joint seized up and won't allow whatever it's attached to to flex. If it is in the drive shaft, that inability can take out the output shaft bearings of your t-case, the carrier bearing if you have a two-piece rear drive shaft or the pinion bearings in your differentials.

U-joint is what I think had to replace both of my rear u-joints for doing the samething.
