it's summer time again, and it's hot! so it's time to hit the water. sunday july 19th in the ocala national forest on the lake, we will have a get together@ 10:00am this will be one of the best get togethers for the diesel community. all you need is a float and beer, and maybe some sunscreen for you irish pale people. this is one of the best spots with crystal clear spring feed water. the short trail off the highways is big enough to fit a hummer down it and we will clear it the day before the event. so bring you'r coolers and chairs the wife, the kid and the dog. camping spots are everywhere, if you wish to camp. and the fishings great so bring a small boat if you wish, there is a ramp on the other side. we will have a meeting location at a convience store nearby and we will have a trail of signs to the location for the late scraglers. more info to come

sat the 18th we will be in kurts 98 ram with a few trucks following. you don't need money just show up we will have plenty of chow and beer. we may camp out and leave sunday sometime.

did some recon this weekend on the lake, where smoke on the water 09 will be held. some folks want to bring there toy haulers and big campers and the trail to the lake is probably not wide enough so there is a big camp site 5 min up the rd from the lake, with bathrooms showers and power. i will post some pics up soon.

this is a free event for all diesel enthusists, hosted by diesel specialists inc. and the cummins forum (jon111) this will be one of the biggest get togethers of the year. rain or shine. all we ask is that you bring something for the grills. we will have some fun events like the tug of war, drag race your grandmother, and of course alligator wrestling.(just kidding about that last one) so bring a float and some beer. there will be primitive camping at the site(all free) and for people with money there is a great family campsite called juniper springs literally 5 min up the road. there's alot of black bears in the ocala forest, but you rarely see them. most are small.
