Default 24 valve on 12 valve

would a 24 valve head work out on a 97 12 valve? thinking this would give me more air in turn more power? true or crazy?

yes it will work you need new injection lines and something needs cut out or off for it to fit but people have done it its not to hard from what ive heard but a stage 2 port job will flow as much air as a 24valve head

yeah it will fit, never heard of having to cut off anything to make it work but it might IDK, im with tater just get a good port and polish and you will have plenty of air...and yes you have to get new injectors and injector lines for this swap to work

need 24 valve pistons to do it right. 24 valve injects straight down instead of from the side. Most high end motors use it. Although they usually use a 24 valve motor with a P pump.

yeah or you'll be running into the same problems 12v guys that run the marine 370 sticks. Little more power, more heat, more smoke not really worth it unless your gonna do it all the way the right way
