Default 2003 F250 brakes and rotor question..

Hi fellas, long story short a good friend of mine just passed away (only 32 years old... auto accident) his wife still wants to keep his 03 F250 4x4 V-10 4dr, Her father in law drove it home from the accident... Truck wasnt involved, and mentioned the brakes need to be done on it.. so i am going to do a full brake job on it for her. Do the rotors come right off after you unhook the calipers? is it a good idea to have the rotors turned or just buy new ones? thanks for the help guys!

You need to take the caliper mounting bracket off, too.

Just my opinion, take it or leave it, but I think you should have someone experienced help you with this.

Sorry to hear about your friend.

if it is anything like my 99 f-250 i think they were floating rotors. it is easier to me to buy new ones, once you get them turned they are so close to being under spec they will overheat and warp easier than a new set will.....
