Default Fuel Plate and Towing

As you can see by my signature that I am running a #10 plate with DDP 2 inj. and a SuperB.
Well I had the plate set about 2/3 forward and pulling EGT'S were good. Today I move the plate forward some more, about .020". There is definite more amount a fuel. I haven't with it yet but it does feel better. When in 5th gear and getting on the throttle there is a little more smoke but still cleans up to a haze a complete clean pretty quick.

For those of you towing what plate do you have installed where is it setting?

Let me know what you think about the way you have the plate setting and the pulling manners.

Thanks

Roger

lots of trucks tow with the 10 plate and have great results, as for me I have no plate with my afc set for full rack @ 40 psi. This was with my silver bullet (66/74/14) max egt's arround 1200* pulling my car trailer. All depends on how you drive.

Is the max EGT's flat land or with some major hills?
Thanks

I run no plate but dont know what my EGTs get to. My gauge only goes to 1500 im sure ive hit 2k. When I pulled Johns Dmax to BTS it never got over 1300. but I also never got into the fuel.

Roger I like an 11 on the 215 for pulling but its hard to beat a 10 or 100 for all around DD.

Chris I agree with you on the #11 plate. I ran that for years with stock inj and stock turbo.
Since going to bigger inj and #10 plate the SuperB help things out. I just don't know of any one running a #10 FF and still be able to pull with descent EGT'S.

i pulled with a 0 plate this after noon for about 10 miles, going up a hill in 3 locked up, i hit 1300 and it was still climbing fast when i let out of it a lil and held my current speed. 4th locked goin up a small hill i would hit 1200 just maintaining my speed.
