pretty sure my lift pump is on its death bed. i hear a ticking, its loudest when you listen from the drivers side front fender. i pushed the primer bulb n it gets quieter. how much is this going to cost me and whats the easiest way to change it. I was thinking pull the inner fender out. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. one more thing, i wont have any extra cash for atleast a month, am i going to hurt anything by driving it until then?

 

the easiest to pull it is pull the fender out and go in from there. they run ya about $100, you should be fine tyo run it for awhil since the engine is lubricated by engine oil. throw a quart of 2 stroke oil in the tank just for safety

umm 8psi?

These 12 valves run around 35 - 40 psi I believe.

 

a normal stock piston style lift pump only has 8psi out pressure, these are for rotary type fuel injection pumps

not talking about pressure at the injector.

 

no out of you lift pump into the p7100 is supposed to be at 50 WOT and 30-35 at idle with all lift pumps from 94-98.5 12v engines
