Default Fuel Plate Question

I think I know the answer to this question but I figure I'll get a general idea from the experts. If I modify or purchase a modified fuel plate for my Bosch 7100 will it decrease my fuel economy? Now I do understand that if I run around with my foot on the floor that things WILL change but what if I don't change my driving style? What if I just want more go when towing? Does this make sense? If it does change things then where do people get more economy and power at the same time? Any insight is appreciated...

yes you'll probably lose more but it does depend alot upon your driving style. u surely dont want a #0plate because that is full fuel all the time. i would recommend cutting you own. i talked to a shop and thats what they do it makes no difference as long as its smooth. i run a #100 which is pretty popular. and my fuel economy only went down a half mile and i drive everywhere blowing smoke

You can make up your mpgs with an exhaust and a cold air intake and if you don't hammer the throttle with a modified plate you'll more than likely can some mpgs.
