The passenger front door will not lock anylonger with the remote or the door switch! The door switch and remote are ok cause all of the other doors work fine. Does anyone know anything about these new door locks? My guess is that I'm going to need to replace the door latch. I'm assuming the electronics for the lock is incorporated into the that whole latch mechanism?

I never had any problems with my 02!

Door lock actuator, easy fix

 

On the 3rd gen trucks the wiring harness is the weak link. Figured this out after I assumed it was the actuator too. Anyone need an actuator for an '06?

 

It's all one unit on the newer trucks. The door lock started working again?
