Just put a new apps sensor in my truck and took it for a test drive.......not as bad but still there.......what the #$%@.....is there any thing else that could make this thing jerk? Here is the kicker....it does it in OD and some out of OD but doesn't do it when it's cold and the converter isn't locked. Took thr tranny out had it looked at everything OK took the ECM and had it reflashed and replaced the MAP sensor and the IAT sensor so what am I missing?

 

are you showing any codes still?

 

Does it feel like the converter is locking and unlocking?

 

no codes and i have a lock up switch on the converter i think it is in the engine but not sure where.

 

If it does it when you manually lock the converter, you have an issue elsewhere. If it's happening under light load, it's most likely the VP of a bad crossover tube.

Ever figure it out ? I have the same problem and can't nail it down either ! Did pull a pending code P0216 injection timing error. Pump is only 4 months old (vp) but would make sense for symtom. Tried APPS calibrate #s were off will know tomorrow !
