i don't know much about these superchips that are out there, guy i know has a good deal on one ( I think), but he don't know if it is vin locked. if it is, is there a way to unlock it, IE, send out to have it reset. would it be worth it for the right price????? any info on it or if you have one, if you liked it or not. thanks much guys

 

I believe you can send it in, might cost a little money though.

 

what do ya mean he dont know if its VIN locked, all he has to do is plug it in and see if it says VIN locked...does he not have the truck he used it on anymore??

I have a super chips tuner. It is great at checking codes and adjusting for different tires. I only saw 2mpg's increase in preformance mode. No difference in tow mode.

 

wow it is diffrent for me i see the increase in tow mode and a nothing in performance mode
