tranni valve body
drain the fluid, drop the pan, remove old valvebody and gaskets, install new parts and torque up bolts , replace pan gasket and filter w/ new fill with fluid, and enjoy, if you do the torque converter then yup gotta drop the tranny, if ya need one pm me i got a guy that custom builds em
VB swaps are easy. Keep in mind that often a VB swap kills a weak trans. So be informed in your decision. Some of the manufacturers run lower pressures than the DTT units we sell, so again, you may be okay.

you should tighten your bbands every 50000 miles or every 25,000 if you pull a trailer. just a good habit to have. it only takes an extra 10 min to do if you have the pan droped for service any way.
