I feel very safe in mine. So far it's wiped out a Mercedes at 80mph without leaving a scratch, and a Pontiac Grand Prix. (that time it got a small scratch that buffed out). In both cases the other driver didn't figure that they needed to stay in their own lane.

I don`t feel as safe in my 06 as i did in my 99 but soon with a couple bombs I will be feeling safe again
in case you haven`t seen my thread yet here is the link to it and I don`t think I would have survived had I been in a Honda ridgeline

ive seen your thread busta, you were a very lucky man!
my mom thinks just the fact tht the ridgeline has all the stability control and extra airbags it wuld be safer

airbags are not always a good thing
The hearing specalist I went to said the 30% hearing loss is from the air bag hitting me in the mouth knocking my jaw out and some how messing with my ear drum
just the fact that the ridgelines look so small I don`t think even with stability control it can compare to the safety of our trucks

My wife has crashed my '04 twice and never got hurt...The first time she went off the road at a 3 way intersection went through a fence, hit a guy wire for a power pole, that broke the tie-rod and messed the fender up pretty good and came to rest cab deep in a cedar tree, that was before we even made the 1st payment. The other time she got side swiped by a Chevy pulling a trailer and it crushed in the whole pass. side, but the girl in the pass. seat was fine. And we've both hit a deer each while driving it and neither one did any damage. It seems pretty safe to me.

I rolled my brand new 02 with 19,009km on it, the insurance company wrote it off lot'sa damage, but I was at work next day. I was sore, but no other injuries. I had 2 03's, and a 07 now and feel very safe, there just is something to be said for driving around in a 7500lbs truck.
