Default Need a tranny
Got a 98.5 5 speed 4x4 running a big shaft and a 13" clutch now. Trans. has now come apart for the 3rd time in 50,000 miles. Looking for a good nv5600, or possibly needed parts to swap an Eaton FSO6406 in it's place. Truck makes 650 and 1,350. Thanks for any help.

How do you use your truck? Do you tow all the time or run heavy alot of the time? If not have you looked into a NV4500 swap instead? They are alot cheaper and new ones can be bought now. i dont know much personally about the eatons though.
