ive got a 94 2500 ram the mods r a 4k gsk, no plate, tuned afc, 4in exhaust, and afe intake, stock turbo btw. i have the wastegate plugged so i can boost a little more and so theres not as much turbo lag, if i kept my foot in it i could easily blow the head gasket bc of the amount of boost, im wanting to know if theres a way to limit the boost at about 35 lbs. im thinkin maybe putting sort of dial on the end instead of the bolt that i have stuck in it to partially plug it off but not all the way ya think that would work?

basically my idea is to make an adjustable leak in the wastegate line.... sound like it would work? bc basically thats what the elbow is doing, cept im thinkin about puttin mine in the cab if the leaks not too loud

look at ball and spring boost controllers on ebay.. about 10 bucks then buy some tubing.

 

i used to have a lockable air pressure regulator from grainger and ran it inline with the wastegate and set it to pop open at what ever psi i wanted it to.
