Default bed lined rockers

the previous owner of my pickup had these big stupid looking steps on after i took them off i realized that he had drilled holes in the rocker panels. the holes held water and they have started to rust its not bad yet but i want to fix it before it gets any worse. my buddies 24 valve had the rockers rhino lined up to that seam where the paint changes color and it looks really good. i was wondering how much it would cost to do that and what all would be involved with it? can i do it myslef?

it was $70 at napa for a gallon and that was with aplicator kit (pan, brush, roller for the liner) it holds up great dont chip when fenders get dented, holds up great to the abuse i give it in the mud hole with no mud flaps on the front tires

do you have to do an prep work to the paint first? a gallon was enough to do the whole thing? do you roll it on or brush it on?

a gallon was enouph to do 3 coats first then 2 coats a day later for durability, i used the roller because it has a special texture pattern, throw the brush away, you do have to sand the areas to be sone and then wash with hot soapy water. i did mine in my shop at 65*, make sure you tape it off so they are straight lines
