So is it 3/16" or 1/4" or some kind of metric size?

I was gonna throw in a Posi-Lok unit on my 99, and if anyone wants one I'll be selling the one I bought. I just like the simplicity and the ease of use of the vacuum system. I had a Posi-Lok in my 97, and it worked very well, but I think its better with an automatic than a stick. Trying to gently let the clutch out, while steering, and trying to reach down under the dash to pull the cable just isn't all that easy, and just throwing a lever is. So I'm sticking with the vacuum system. However, I can't figure out what size it is I need to buy to replace the old lines. So, anyone have any idea?

I'll do a write up of the setup I'm gonna use, its basically a 4 way solenoid with a switch that I'll mount on the dash. It'll let me use 2wd Low too!

I'm gonna attack it this weekend, got the valve, looks good. Just still gotta figure out what size hose is on the truck.

Well, its actually different depending on where you measure it. Some of it is 1/4, some is 3/16... Still trying to map out which is which.

Well, its actually because the tube goes from ID to OD, one slips in the other, they had to do it for some of the applications that the vacuum system is used for. Not defending them, just talking from working with a lot of different vendors who's parts don't all match up. Dana was notorious for having companies not mate things up correctly, and we (the test engineers) always had to figure out if it would work, or if we could make it work cheaply. Usually we figured something out that would work for a long time, but didn't look all that pretty, kinda like the 4wd system on the Rams.
