Default Intake

heres the deal. i just bought the quadzilla monster intake. i thought it was supposed to be green. that is the only color that i had seen it in. well i got it yesterday. and it wasnt. all it is is the afe pro dry filter. i knew it was made by afe but i thought it was still green. well i am not impressed with it so i was wondering what all of yall like as far as intake systems go. im wantin the best of both world of performance and looks.

I've had a couple afe filters and didn't care for the cleaning and oiling of the last one I had. I now have the 4510 from amsoil with outerwear cover and really like it

BHAF and its all that will ever be on my truck. Thought about bending up a sheet metal airbox for it.

The AFE Pro Dry is an EXCELLENT filter - I would say a whole lot better than the Quad filter you ordered.

I have a Proguard 7 and just bought a Pro Dry because I dont like messing with the oil. A top quality, washable AFE filter and you dont have to screw around with the oil. What more could you ask for?

Why pay $50 for a BHAF when you can get a washable Pro Dry for the same money? Unlike the throw-away BHAF, it will last many years. JMO.

I have the AFE Stage 1 with the Torque Tube and its 4". If you are interested in just replacing your filter I can see if I can dig up the part number for you. I am pretty sure it will fit your FIPK intake with zero problems.

Im am not 100% sure if the filters on the Stage 2 intakes are any larger (I think they might be like the 6" race filters, but I am speculating). You do get a lot more plastic with the stage 2 intakes.
