anyone kno where to find a hi-flow exhaust manifold for these old 1st gens? OR would one from a '94 or later work on these? I dont see why not but i thought id ask.

 

I'm pretty sure that second gen 12 valve ones work. Heads are the same, anyways...

yes, the manifolds for the 2nd gen 12 valves DO fit to the 1st gen 12v's...I have one on mine.

 

Ok thanks because when i buy my '90 1st gen diesel here in a few weeks i want to put a 3 piece ATS manifold on and an Aurora 3000 with the pump turned up and bigger injectors, like some "POD" injectors or something along those lines.

 

the manifolds are the same and good lucky with the mods

 

Don't be afraid of a 2nd gen 24V one if the price is real right, I know some guys that have used them on 12V's and just port matched the manifold with no cracking issues. You can ussually pick them up for half the cost of new.
