I have a 1999 24v ram 3500. The issue I am having is when ever it is running as soon as you hit the gas the slightest bit the truck just begins revving higher and higher until you get off the throttle I assumed it was the tps but swapped it with my dads off his truck and did the same exact thing. Any ideas on what's wrong?

 

my '01 2500 was doing the same...change out both the governor pressure switch and soleniod. hopefully that helps.
