05 cumming 5.9 missing at idle, truck runs great otherwise and getting 21-22 mpg

I changed the fuel filter and run additive on a regular basis

I added 2 cans of seafoam on my last tank of fuel, ran that thru still the same issue

I scanned they system thru the OBD2 port and I have no codes

The truck has a fass system on it, filter is good and so is pressure

My wife is taking the truck pulling a horse trailer and 2 horses next week, she is going 3k miles trip

I had same thing on my truck, only skipped when idling.
As soon as I gave fuel, stopped. I was in the process of changing
injectors when it happened,was ok after changing. I sent those
injectors in to have made into bigger ones, when they came back
no more problems. I was never told if there was a problem with them
or not.

 

that's exactly what I was thinking, truck has 190k on it and stock other than the FASS

maybe its time for some new ones
