Been out of it way to long my kids 01 6-speed has no pulling power,it kind of surges when starting off but smooths out after picking up speed(my "93" will out pull it) has good fuel pres. has fass oem fuel pump 200,000 miles on engine 100,000 miles on injection pump.Could a bad map sensor be a prob.? no codes . took the power puck off not a lot of change. Any help? thanks Lee

 

try to unhook the batteries, leave them for 20 min and hook them back up, reset the ecm and see if the problem is still occurring. any black smoke? rough idle? or does it run about perfect with no power? if a map goes bad it will set the check engine light on that truck.

 

Runs perfect no power no smoke, will re-hook batterys on Monday doing clutch now for her so been un-hooked for awhile and see thanks.
