I'm working on an 06 Cummings and at 2500 rpms in every gear it loses power and smokes at the same time. (Black) anyone out there had this problem. Help

 

Check for a boost leak! Cracked intercooler, blown boot!

 

Thanks for the reply but I've got it figured out. This truck was used (with another truck) to pull a big rig out of the mud. Thats when the symptoms started. Long story short the dirty air filter got sucked up in the air box and was restricting the airflow. Look for the simple stuff first. Lesson learned.
