i bought my ntruck a month an ahlf ago and i was wondering how i telll if i have tranny wrok done or not.....it seems to me like the previous owner may of had tranny work done to it already how do i tell with out tearing it down......

 

You'd have to know a little about trannys to be able to tell or at least what a stock one feels like compared to a modified one.

If it shifts kinda firm and the TC stalls at around 1600-1800 rpm then it might have a VB and a TC in it. Do the shifts seem kinda quick too?
