Air in coolant and over heating
I have a 2008 6.7 cummins I had the head gasket fixed and put arp studs in about 2 years ago but now I'm getting air in my coolant and my temp runs a little high and overheat and loose my heat for a few min any suggestions on what's wrong
I didn't think if it was the thermostat would put air in the system when I shut it off you can see air bubbles in the overflow
^^ what he said sometimes it works. Worth a shot just retorque in sequence. Just as your replacing the hg start lower torque numbers until you get to where your head is going to be torqued at.
