Just got this truck and got it running, it sat for about 2 years. Now OD light is flashing, mechanic says it pulled a sensor code. On a couple of other forums, everyone is telling me absolutely do not drive the truck. Well , I drove it all weekend around town, and drove it to work today to see if anything else popped up that needed to be dealt with. Mechanic and his tranny guy felt like the code might be from it just sitting. Here is what it is doing, it will move forward in drive, but lacks a lot of "power" , goes better in second and then once about 25mph can shift back to drive and it is fine, no hard shifting at all. I am taking it to a tranny shop tomorrow to have it checked, but would love input on it. I have read through some of the posts on here regarding different issues with the codes.
