I was just now driving home and my engine started sputting, and the engine cut off and my programmer read the code P0148 from what I can see from google is a high pressure relief valve. Truck will not start however fuel is getting through.

My truck did same thing today. died and wont start( but no code) got it back home and once it was cooled off started after a few secs and ran fine for 5 minutes before i killed it. i cant hear the lift pump run when i turn the key on so i am leaning towards that. does your pump make noise when key on?

 

I cannot hear my lift pump either but good news is I broke down across the street from my buddies shop, so I will find out early tomorrow morning will let you know what I find out.

If your high pressure relief valve is open it will not allow the rail to build the required pressure to fire the injectors.
