I have been thinking about doing a egr delete on my 04.5 lly for some time now. I dont think the kit is worth the money since i work at a machine shop and can make all of the delete plates. i was watching a video on you tube where they used freeze plugs and soldered them in both ends of the cooler. i was just wondering your thoughts on this. will that work the same as the delete kit? and will a code be thrown? I wana keep all the parts on the motor like the cooler. just in case i get pulled over by the dot like i usually do.
