i have been looking into a 08 cummins truck and i am just wondering if there were any major or minor issues with these trucks? the truck was used for long haul so it has alot of long miles. 350,000+ miles but they are asking 16,000 so i am just curious of these trucks are as relaible as the early cummins are? thanks for the help and info

 

Well I can only give you my view on this but I have a 2008 3500 mega cab and I bought it used completey stock. I then did all the delets after about 9 months. I now have 66,000 mils on it and it is one good running truck. And just this past weekend I gutted the CCV filter and did the CCV vent hose by pass. Loving it even more. Just to give you an example, last year I drove my truck down the Texas Padre Island National Sea Shore. That's 65 miles on the beach 4x4 only. I was very nervous about taking it down there because my truck weight is 7900 lbs. But I had the time of my life and the truck did great no problems at all and I got to pull out a big ford f350 that got stuck due to a front broke drive shaft. Love the 6.7. Well that's my 2 cents.
