Well. It happened. After the death of the 94 12v,(and almost myself), I walked away 4 years ago. Last week a 99 fell into my lap and I couldn't say no. So it's a 99 2500. Mileage 300k. Short bed ext cab. 5 speed. Black. New South Bend clutch. New FASS 150. High idle and 3cyl mode activated. Non 53 block. All MOOG front end components. Bradford Built flatbed. Thunderstruck bumper replacement. New batteries and BAHF. I've order gauges from Autometer. Boost, Pyro and fuel pressure. Seeing as I don't really have much to do to it, I'm seeing what I should be looking for on it for trouble. Also trying to figure out what kind of tuner to put on it. So any help for my new venture into the 24v world would be appreciated!

I just got a 24 Valve at Christmas my first diesel.its 1998 5- speed 4x4 with 199K when I bought I have ran it hard for 2,000 miles and changed fuel&oil filters.It was my uncles friends truck and he had maintaince records since 140,000 10 years ago.oil looked still clean and so did fuel filter.It had a newer lift pump installed it is totally stock.Any suggestion would help me.
