Think there is a port on the oil filter base

Are you wanting high or low pressure oil?

There I a little port on the side of the book next to the oil filter housing that has an Allen wrench head on it and is about 3/8, I have the fitting and everything for this location

Neither are "needed". If it doesn't have low pressure oil it wont run, if it doesn't have enough high pressure it won't run as good as it could. You gain anything by having them other then maybe easier diagnosis someday and more gauges in the cab

So is it the port with the maybe 3/8 bolt sticking out about 1/4 inch? My guage goes to 100
