Hello:

I just discovered a oil leak thats pretty bad. The leak is just above the oil sending unit and off to the side of it. Looks like its coming from the side cover.Any quik fix known out there. Looks difficult from where Im sitting. Thanks

Sounds like your Tappet cover gasket...

To replace the gasket you'll either need to remove the fuel injection pump or remove the head.

 

usually have to pull Injection Pump and a few things that r in the way ... not a fun job unless its a ISB ... aka 24v

 

then when you get the hang of it you can come do mine for me
