so Im sure I know the answer to this question and its a no. but never hurts to know but Im needing to know if a 261 xhd transfer case out of a gas will work in a duramax they look the same but Im not sure if the guts are strong enough for the diesel

Yeah there was a hole and thn there was a begining of another hole poped the case a part and the chain was missing a lot of links and everything was a burnt hot color but got a new case and pump upgrade and truck is back in the road. But now I have something wrong in the frontend whn in four wheel drive
