Not shutting off

I just bought a 99 cummins and when I go to shut it off it wont turn off for about a minute. new to all this, any ideas?

The edge juice has a turbo timer feature that can be set to turn the truck off after a certain amount of time or after the egt has dropped below the set temperature.
