Confused-Performance Question
im confused on what brand to buy and was hoping for some personal reccommendations.
I was looking at the triple dog, banks-6 gun, and edge.
The truck will be used for light towing, an occassional race with the idiot next to me but mainly for daily driving. I want to ensure durability and not tear up my truck. Thanks

I have been running the Power Pup with the Crazy Larry tune for almost 3 years. I run it on the 90hp setting and it really woke the truck up. If you can afford it, buy the Smarty from Mads Electronics. It has a ton of upgradeable programs for stock turbo/sticks, aftermarket turbo/stock sticks, etc.... It costs $685, but it is the best for the money. Just an example: a friend of mine got a Smarty and loaded the 60hp setting and took me for a ride. His 60hp setting pulls harder imo than the 90hp setting on my BullyDog and leaves a nice little cloud behind the truck. Good luck in your purchase.

Smarty, just be ready with the supporting mods, gauges a must if towing at any level, andif not towing, any level over #3. Then be ready to upgrade drivetrain, to hold what a smarty can make will take an aftermarket clutch or some big bucks in parts for an auto.

Everyone is going to give you a different answer.
But don't over look BD I found that they really stand behind there product.

If you are just looking for a small performance bump - Id have to go with a Smarty. In addition to the performance gains, it can clear codes and doesnt leave any trace of being installed. IMO, a no brainer.
