If it does read through the Map Where is it pulling its reading from , I know the boost bolt in the head reads different then an Air Horn connection , I think the head is more accurate So IF it reads via MAP where is it reading from ?

It could be the MAP or the connector to the engine that is normally capped off..am not sure, but I know the digital guage is very responsive and changes quickly.Mine has shown 42 PSI top so far.I had problems with my trans temp connecter also and had to get a short pipe nipple with a union to connect,it didn't work correctly at first but was only because I was too light on the tight and didn't have a good ground to it yet, removing and retightening the assembly cured it though

I did the same thing!! Couldn't find any wires for the boost but it works. Must read through the map sensor plug. Take it for a drive and it should read boost, mine did. Why?

Its an electrical reading. Thats why when u unplug the MAP connector your truck will smoke more. It tricks the computer .
