Might be getting a 01 5.9 2wd it has 220k miles a lot I know

Brand new lift pump and injector pump also two brand new batteries and two brand new tires and new combination switch

I'm buying for 6,000 if tomorrow test drive is good

What should I look for to make sure this truck is in good condition???

Any help would be helpful

He did say ac isn't blowing as cold as it should though my old dodge did the same so hopefully this is a easy cheap fix?

 

if its in good shape thats not a bad price considering the reman VP44, the radiator is probably plugged by oil and dirt from the blow-by bottle

 

any upgrades to the transmission, especially if towing
the biggy is make sure it is not a 53 block

 

53 block is not the only block that cracks, nor do all of them crack...

55 blocks and STORM blocks can also crack...seen several cracked 55 blocks now, and heard of cracked STORM blocks.

 

Too much. With that kind of miles on it AND being a 2wd, I wouldn't give over $5000 for it...........if that.

 

trucks must be cheap in your area....

truck like that will go 8-10k here...

14k if its 4x4 and manual trans.
