Where I'm at it has to clear up in so many seconds. Seen a buddy one time at a tire place and hammered it and low and behold a cop got his own personal smoke show. The popo just put his blinker on and turned left

Its called excessive acceleration here in texas. I got pulled over once for it but that was by a school cop.

Yeah I've got a ticket for that on top of 75 in a 35. It was about a 600$ ticket combined. After it was all said and done the officer told me ( son the damn big pipe coming out of your bed is gonna get you in a lot of trouble)

Technically, where there's smoke there is WASTED power... Clean is mean when it comes to stoichiometry; just enough fuel for that air to burn it. Granted, mechanical pumps have to dump a little to get things rolling as they don't have the micro-dynamic tuning capabilities of electronic injection, but a thick rolling plume is just stupid however you look at it...ESPECIALLY coughing and hacking buried within it. Just my humble opinion, but don't trash up our hobby/sport/passion with some illconcieved notion of "cool" via overly large fart cannons and black clouds... Again, just an opinion. And call me kettle for having dual 4" stacks and 38" mud grips on my DD deisel...

Carry on with the bro lovefest...
