Default Help me smoke!!!

I am looking to buy a magna flow exhaust system, a turbo back 5 inch. Would you guys recommend a turbo back or CAT back exhaust? I am also going to buy a Bully Dog tuner.
Will this make me poor out loads of smoke?! If not, help!!!!!!

Like kawiguy said trash bag over filter, or gallon of gas poured over truck and lit. That should really make it smoke. Smoke is wasted performance think bout that.

That would do it, but at the cost of your air filter goin and trashing your turbo! You should have plenty of smoke, and probably get you some smoke tickets! (im guilty of this) I would go with the turbo back, better flow=more power.
CErickson: Haha

Why do you want smoke??
All smoke is waisted power and lost fuel milage
And it makes the diesel community look bad.
Were not trying to be mean to you, but it's not worth trying to make your truck smoke.

I would go with efi live tuning from a reputable company and ask them to program you a smoke tune. See what they say bout that. Smokin your truck is what is wrong with every state wanting to put tougher and tougher laws on our trucks.

Step 1: Drain the oil.

Step 2: Dump your drain oil in the interior of your truck.

Step 3: Light it on fire.

Enjoy the smoke!

smoke ain't the point of a diesel, its a byproduct of having to much fuel or a rich ratio, its wasted diesel and wasted power. A tuned 5.9 will smoke like a train as is, you don't need a smoke tune and most people will laugh if you ask for one. Go for the turbo back it will give you better airflow and lower exhaust gas temps. BUTTT if you really need smoke THAT bad pull off a intercooler tube and floor it.
