Default no oil pressure

Hey yall. I was commin home from work in my 02 and the check gauge light came on and chimed. Checked my gauges and NO oil pressure at all. Pulled over and checked the oil. Was a little low but not below the add. Topped the oil off and started it up gauge went to about 30 and then after about 30sec it dropps to 0 again. Any suggestions thanks

Start with the simple stuff, oil pump and check the pickup for clogs before you dig in for a rebuild.
