I bought an abandoned 2003 ford f-350 and I need a key made to get the motor started up. The dealer said need proof of ownership, they haven't replied back to me yet if a bill of sale will work. Is there anyone on here that I can give the VIN number to and have build a key for this truck?

If you don't have a title or know where it is get a salvage title for proof of ownership.

I paid the storage lien on this truck, it had been sitting for 2 years. I am having hell finding the owner who apparently lived in pocatello idaho. Can locksmiths make keys given the VIN?

 

Like you said yourself the dealer can just provide proof of ownership, I would say a BOS is proof, if the dealer dosn't agree go to a different dealer.

Just put a toggle switch in place of the ignition.

 

Im having problems with my 6.0 but I think I may have it figured out. It started over heating, and losing coolant. Not knowing much about them, I didnt think much of it. Finally decided to take EGR valve off and clean it. It was all gunked up and there is some trash in the cooler and it is a little wet. Still same problem, still blowing white steam. So im assuming the EGR cooler is cracked? I need someones input, and if so, would an upgraded EGR cooler fix it? Do i replace oil cooler too? Thanks for any help.
