Default 03 6.0l no start/hard to start only idle for sec them die

Hi all! It's my first post around here! The title say almost all!

Got a 03 6.0l that suddenly die then won't restart. I have taken fuel pressure it's 50psi. The icp is 430-450 when cranking. I do hear the injector cycle during the key on/off. I have replace the ipr whit a new one. Remove both valve cover and check for leak while I command ipr to close and it keep it's pressure so no leak (shop air 130psi is that enough?). Check cam sensor 840ohms. I think it's time for a new hpop!?

Is there something I forgot to check? I just want I be sure before I change the pump! Thank you all!

If you heard no leaks, and you listened for a while, then you are probably right, it's time for a new pump. You need to see 500psi for the injectors to fire so it might be done. It is always a good idea to check the low pressure pump first because if it is bad it can't feed oil to the high pressur pump. Does you pressure guage go up when cranking? if yes then good, if no then pull the oil filter cap and hold down the little plunger at bottom of housing and have someone crank it over, if it fills with oil the low pressure pump is good, if not then the real problem is the low pressure pump that sits behind the ballacer on the crankshaft..
Just a note, I just use the oil filter to hold the plunger down, less likely to break the little plunger that way. also make sure you only have the stock cap and a Motorcraft filter or a Fram one/they are made by same people/.there are some filter from Napa and fleet companys that are too short and don't hold the plunger down and can cause issure that resemble a bad pump.

I can read some pressure I don't remember exactly but at least 30psi when cranking I think!
