When I bought my truck, the speedometer didn't work. I took it out and looked at it and it all seems to be fine. Also checked and replaced all the fuses and it still didn't work. Is there something else I need to check or a way I can fix it? Or do I just need to find a new one?

buy a GPS, thats what I did, I bought a tom tom and it gives me speed +- 1 mile

 

Your going to need a volt meter or scan tool to check it.

 

Ok where do I find the VSS? I have a GPS Speedometer app on my phone and it's pretty accurate. It's a little inconvenient at times though.

 

Check the reducer gear box on the side of the tcase mine went out a couple years ago 100 dollar fix and if you run oversize tires you can have it geared to match tires
