so Im new to the website and lookin for a little help. I got a 03 cummins2500 quad cab L bed 6 spd. got a smarty Pod straight pipe 4" with 210,000miles. the truck runs great no issues when I fire it up and drive it seems normal then when I get runnin down the hwy with cruise set at 60 and I get into town take the cruise off my throttle seems full all and all the way to the top. I try to take off from the stop light but it seems to wanna roast the tires and seems to have twice the power...took to the dodge dealership and they cant figure it out any idea guys?

 

Throttle position sensor or rail pressure sensor.

Yeah, they are decent. Wear great. Little heavy of a tire, but worth it.

 

If it's the rail pressure sensor, it's cheaper to get a new fuel rail that comes with one, rather than to buy the sensor from dodge. I got my fuel rail at Geno's for $300 compared to over $500 for just the sensor from Dodge. I just wanted to give you a heads up.
