Just got done with head job and alls well with the exception of turbo/boost. Throws a code for turbo/supercharger circuit low. when I key on the turbo gauge goes to 0 level but then drops out like it lost all contact. Being theres only one connection to turbo which is the VGT is there a test for the VGT functiong correctly? Take it up to abot 2500 RPM and the programmer (Edge) shows only 3-7 lbs.

 

you can go in with a scan tool and change vgt vane percentages with a boost gauge installed and see what you readings you get.

 

What should the readings be? say at 2000, 2500,3000 RPM

 

I cant remember off hand, if you have the code I can look it up.

 

Well new development got my dumass out there and hooke in the intake air lin to the sensor by the heater/ac box. I had taken it off to make room for the head removal and I ddint put it back in yet. Both gauge on instrument and programmer read now but no power like it ought to. Sounded like a pretty good leak in one of the pipes so get that dialed in and see what happens.
